Our Story
The Indrajit Namchoom Arunachal League (INAL), Arunachal Pradesh’s premier football tournament, has undergone a major transformation with the introduction of a franchise-based model from its sixth edition in 2025. Organised by the Society for Youth and Sports Development (SYSD) under the aegis of the Arunachal Pradesh Football Association (APFA) and affiliated with the All India Football Federation (AIFF), the league now operates under a new, professionally structured framework. Ten franchise clubs from across the state will compete at the Golden Jubilee Stadium in Yupia from October 4 to November 8 (2025), with the league winner earning qualification for the I-League 3.

Our Progress
Under the new model, the state has been divided into ten zones to ensure greater local participation and talent development. Each team must include at least seven players from Arunachal Pradesh, of which four must be from the team’s respective home zone. The remaining players can be from other parts of Arunachal or outside the state. The revamped INAL focuses on professionalism, technology integration, live streaming, and fan engagement, while fostering a sustainable ecosystem for clubs and creating a strong career platform for local footballers.
